ABC Classic 100 Concerto Gala Concert

Amir Farid featured as soloist in the 1st movement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2 in C minor with the Australia Pro Arte Orchestra, at the Classic 100 Concerto Countdown Gala Concert, held on 31st October 2007 at Hamer Hall, Melbourne.

    I listened to the Concert and thoroughly enjoyed it.
    I have purchased the CD’s. However, Iam disappointed that more of the number one Concerto (”Emperor”) couldn’t be played. I realise of course that with so many tracks there was a time constraint but for me it doesn’t capture the magnificence of that wonderful Concerto.
