Density: Exponential Ensemble

Musical textures of contrasting densities are at the core of this program starting with the eerie Shifting Landscapes by Vivian Fung followed by Scott Wheeler's celestial work Traveling Light. Limestone and Felt by Caroline Shaw offers a light, pizzicato interlude before ending with the lush and romantic Sextet in C Major by Ernö Dohnányi.
